¡Viva Azteca! Fourteen hot south-of-the-border artists conjure up 18 new designs in Kidrobot’s bold Dunny Azteca Series 2. Blind-boxed in Jesse Hernandez’s inspired indigenous packaging, each distinctive Dunny celebrates La Raza. On the tails of 2007’s hotter-than-habanero Series 1, the second celebration of Dunny Azteca includes designs by anaïs e3, Oscar Mar, José Leandro Córdova Lucas, Izzie Ramírez, OCHÖstore, Michelle Prats, Tepetonga, Luis Mata, Dani Bravo, The Beast Brothers, Jesse Hernandez, MARKA27, MIGUEL DE LA BARRACUDA, and Saner. The fiesta begins now!!

The last of the trio of RAJE releases that we brought back from NYCC 2010 is the Dr Brain ‘Liberty edition’ colourway. This limited-to-75 colourway is based on the Statue of Liberty (hence the ‘Liberty’ edition), and is great. It is based in blue and green hues, with a panelled design. The brain has been changed to pink, with the ‘fluid’ in the tank being changed to blue.

This is by far and away our favourite  colourway! You can get your’s over at the store!

Fresh out of NYCC 2010 are these beauties – the Argent and Ruby colourways of the Tenebrae Beast Rider.

Looking even better then we expected after seeing the mould a couple of months ago, the Tenebrae Beast Rider is a wonderful piece by Patricio Oliver. The Argent and Ruby colourways differ slightly, aside from the colours, with the Argent having flexible, transparent arms, while the Ruby has solid ones.

This is one of the 50 pre-production figures, that were available at the RAJE Toys booth. The full production run is scheduled to be released in November.

Looky what we picked up at NYCC 2010…  RAJE Toy’s G.N.O.M.E

The G.N.O.M.E. is a truly amazing figure; the pictures do not do it justice! Based on the Dr Brain body, it has a really solid feel to it, and certainly weighs a tonne! The paint job is very consistent with Doktor A’s previous designs and is to a high standard.

This is one of the 50 pre-production figures,  Artist Proof prototypes, that were available at the RAJE Toys booth. There may be some changes between this and the final production figure that is scheduled to be released in November, making this piece a rarer one!

RAJE Toys – booth #2680

G.N.O.M.E – Doktor A’s much talked about design with RAJE will be released. This is a very limited release, so get your’s while you can.

Tenebrae – Patricio Oliver’s highly anticipated ‘Paladin Beast Rider’ will be release, in both the Ruby and Argent colourways, as well some prints of each figure, which Patricio will be on hand to sign.

Dr Brain – the RAJE Toys and Robotic Industries team up is back with the NYCC exclusive ‘Liberty Colourway’ of Dr Brain. There are also 5 amazing Dr Brain customs from Chuckboy, Drilone, Task One, Leecifer, and Mr. Munk on sale.

Project Blueprint – The long awaited contest is over, and the winners are going to be announced. The designs that RAJE have leaked so far look amazing!

tokidoki – booth #2775

tokidoki are making their first appearance at the New York Comic Con this year, and they are bringing some awesome merchandise with them! Keep an eye out for the Street Fighter and Marvel merchandise – it looks great!

PatchTogether – booth #2464

VISEone will be at the PatchTogether booth, with his stunning ComicStripped collection. Be there to see it!

There are so many bits we are excited for we’re not sure where to begin. If there’s time, we’ll be checking out Ardden, Atlas, DC and Marvel comics too, not to mention the indies!

It is going to be amazing.
